Richard “Kent” Schnacker is group president of ACS’s Financial Services Group. The group, which represents more than $600 million in annual revenue, includes:
- Finance & accounting
- Mortgage and banking services
- Consumer and commercial loan servicing
- Mutual fund and securities services
- Education services for colleges and universities
Previously, Schnacker was senior managing director of the ACS Commercial Education & Financial Services delivery unit, which supports:
- The top 15 commercial banks
- More than 400 colleges and universities
- 8 million borrowers
He grew the business from $280 million to $336 million in annual revenue in four years, overseeing:
- Business development
- Technology development
- Client relationships
- Operations
Schnacker has more than 25 years of diverse leadership experience that includes directing large technology implementations and leading major new business pursuits.
He joined ACS in 1990 as CIO of the commercial education and loan servicing businesses. He led several technology initiatives including:
- Migrating to a new loan servicing platform
- Implementing an improved image workflow application
- Establishing virtual call center capabilities
- Teaming with other executive leaders to start up of operations supporting the largest U.S. federal student loan program.
Prior to joining ACS, Schnacker served as CIO and CTO for several large firms in the airline and oil industries.
